Assistant District Attorney Lincoln J. Monroe, who has practiced law for the past 15 years, has been with the Dallas County District Attorney’s (DA) Office for six years. He is one of nine attorneys in the Administration Division, along with seven investigators and 29 support staff. Among other duties, he is responsible for preparing the District Attorney’s annual budget. In addition to being the administrative attorney for the DA’s office, Mr. Monroe is also a Certified Public Accountant and specializes in finance/accounting and white collar crime. The Garland, Texas, native received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Public Administration – Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas; a Master of Business Administration degree from Abilene Christian University at Garland; and a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. Mr. Monroe is a member of the North Texas Crime Commission and the Garland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association.
