Chief, Specialized Crime Division
Assistant District Attorney Donna Strittmatter heads up the Specialized Crime Division at the Dallas County District Attorney’s (DA) Office, where she supervises 11 attorneys, five investigators, one financial analyst and one support staff. She has been practicing law for seven years and has been with the DA’s office since the beginning of her legal career. An active member of the community, Ms. Strittmatter is a member of the Texas District and County Attorneys Association, the Dallas County Adult Protective Services Special Task Unit, the Junior League of Dallas, is a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas, and is a local collaborator for The Senior Source, Senior Safety Project. Additionally, she has served as a presenter for numerous groups including the Dallas Chapter of the International Association of Financial Crime Investigators, the National White Collar Crime Center and the Dallas Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She also received a National District Attorneys Association scholarship for Elder Abuse training. The Pilot Point, Texas, native earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A & M University, where she graduated Magna cum Laude.
