Assistant District Attorney Carmen P. White heads up the Child Abuse Division at the District Attorney’s (DA) Office, where she supervises 13 attorneys, 10 investigators and five support staff. The Russellville, Arkansas, native has been with the DA’s office for 10 years. She specializes in prosecuting cases involving the physical and sexual abuse of children, including child deaths. Ms. White has been practicing law for 11 years and is a member of the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center Board. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School where she earned a Juris Doctor degree and Baylor University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
